Cape Breton Highlands National Park

Breathtakingly beautiful. From shoreline, to the road heading into the distant heels and mountains, the entire area is awesome.

Just WOW!!! AWESOME Motorcycle ride. Sight are amazing. Roads are excellent.

Breathtaking views! Cape Breton Highlands National Park has many amazing trails. My favorite is Skyline Trail. Make sure you have your Parks Canada Pass or access for the day on your dashboard. If you are going to sleep around, know that it is very busy so you need to make your reservation in advance! Enjoy nature!

Wow! I feel very lucky to have had the experience of doing the loop and seeing all the beauty of this park! It's one of those places that would inspire someone to write a song. It's also a place where people live, clung to the fringes of the park, nestled in little village settings, getting by on a simpler living. I can easily understand now why Cape Bretoners band together to sing of the simple joys!This park has some of the most amazing majestic views, You simply cannot rush through it.

Cape Breton Highlands National Park is a beautiful national park located on the northern tip of Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia, Canada. The park is known for its stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Highland Mountains and dense forests. Established in 1936, the park spans over 950 sq km (366 sq miles) and offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, wildlife watching and more.One of the most popular attractions in the park is the Cabot Trail, a 300-kilometer (186-mile) scenic drive that winds through the park, offering spectacular views and access to many trails and lookout points. The Cabot trail has amazing views! Plenty to do, plenty of restaurants and places to visit. I was sad that the chowder house was closed at the time we visited. We checked on the website for their opening hours but I guess something came up and they didn't open. But there were plenty other choices. We took the whole day to complete the trail. (298km) at the end of the trail, the stores started to close(4pm - 5pm). So plan ahead!

Lovely site with water, electricity and sewer. Laundry and dishwashing stations within walking distance and super clean comfort stations with showers. A few nice trails on the campground and a beach with the most beautiful colour of sand!

It’s a good scene route. I did clockwise drive & enjoyed it. Definitely worth the drive. Lots of hiking options and trails. Good for someone who like hiking and trails, definitely need few days to explore & bring mosquitoes and find accommodation near by park. Make sure your Gas tank is full, sometime cape Breton is out of gas. i

This is one of my all-time favourite places to visit. The camping here is incredible. The hiking amazing, and the views and geology stunning. There is so much to explore, I couldn’t cover it all in one review. Definitely check this place out. It is a gem for Nova Scotia. If you are going camping though, book early. This place books up really fast. Beaches are amazing as well.

Beautiful. Absolutely stunning views. Buy your park pass if you intend on stopping at any of the trails or using washrooms or you are subject to a fine!!
