Port Alberni inlet is gorgeous. The open waters of the west coast was just that. Open. The huge swells had me puking off the side of the boat. Once we moved inside broken island chain it was calm as was I.Fishing was amazing. Needs to be seen.

What a breathtaking place! Nature is the best! We were here on a perfect west coast wet day! Rainy, Windy, stormy, just perfect! If you’re visiting Tofino, here is a must see must hike area!

Just finished the WCT 6 days and it was absolutely amazing. Lots of mud definitely wasn't 100 ready for everything we went thru but it was an amazing trip would recommend to any one looking for and adventure.

The Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is a highly sought-after destination for surfers, drawing visitors from all corners of the globe. The Reserve boasts a plethora of activities such as beach walks, biking, hiking, sea kayaking & storm watching. The rugged & lush area has given rise to a variety of perspectives & values concerning land use & resource allocation, from developers to environmental stewards. While each group acknowledges the area’s significance, they hold divergent views on the preservation of old-growth forests & wildlife. In 1993, about 800 demonstrators protested against logging in Clayoquot Sound by obstructing loggers. Clayoquot Sound is one of five sounds on Vancouver Island, situated in the northern part of the Reserve, encompassing valleys, rivers, inlets, lakes & forests. The protesters’ non violent resistance against the logging industry was arguably the most significant civil insurrection in Canadian history. The Clayoquot Sound Decision resulted in the expansion of the protected area from 39,100 to 87,600 hectares.Tofino, Ucluelet, Victoria, Nanaimo, & other parts of Vancouver Island are critical to improving humanity and the planet.

very nice places and landscape.parking should be cheaper and opened earlier in the morning. Also watch out some trails sections are very badly maintained ; some wooden board are missing from the many platforms, some are so damaged that it is dangerous to walk on them. Especially Shorepine bug trail, Florencia to southbeach/Wikaninish beach. The beach parking lots are always closed in the morning and only opened at 8 am Its almost never possible to surf before work early in the morning. Very often the bathrooms are very clean.

Amazing but crowded. I began going there in the 70's, so then and now are unrecognizable. But for the better.

Only scraped the surface of exploring here but there are loads of beautiful spots to pull in and enjoy the stunning views and quiet. Or go for a little hike.

One of my favorite places. Tofino is just a stunning place. Pacific Rim has the biggest most beautiful trees with a beautiful newer boardwalk for the perfect hike. 100% worth a visit if you are in Tofino!

Absolutely stunning! This gorgeous reserve belongs on everyone's bucket list. So many beautiful trails to wander. It was also nice to see the clean, modern washrooms along Long Beach.
